Here is a rundown of what happened in 2012;
Isaac started walking in March and finally got his first tooth.
Isaac turned 1 on April 26. We had a very fun Dr Suess themed party and he got his first taste of cake. Obviously, he loved it since he is the child of two sugar addicts. He ate all the frosting off. It was red and therefore he looked like a vampire.
In June, we found out I was pregnant with #2, AH! We had literally talked about feeling ready to think about another and hello, there it was.
We eventually found out that #2 would be a little girl.
I realized being pregnant with a toddler was NO JOKE. It's seriously rough. And most the advice that works when you are pregnant with the first one is useless the 2nd time around. For example, resting and napping and any kind of "taking it easy" is pretty much impossible with an active 1 year old running around.
2013 has been a great year so far.
On February 11, at 5:55am, Lena Elizabeth Marston came into the world. 7lbs 9oz, 20.5inches.
She has been such a sweet, snugly, good natured little girl so far. She definitely has a temper, but doesn't seem to hold a grudge just yet. We are steadily adjusting to life with 2.
Isaac turned 2 on April 26, and has been growing and changing so fast. He is speaking in sentences and his vocabulary is just exploding. He is hilarious, silly, and probably too smart for us. He also loves his little sister.
It's been a crazy time but we are having fun.
