For 4th of July weekend, my parents (Betty and David, aka Mimi and Papa) came to town to spend the long weekend with us. They had not seen Isaac in person since Mother's Day, so it was fun for them to be able to see him now that he is interacting with us more and more. We had a pretty low-key weekend, mostly just enjoying each other's company and getting some small projects done around the house.
Mom and Dad also got us a small grill and we made fajitas one night. Mom made salsa and marinated the meat and vegetables, then she showed us how to use the grill (we've never had space for one before, so we had no clue). It was definitely the best Tex-Mex we've had since moving to South Georgia.
