So, when we first found out I was pregnant, we waited a while to tell everyone other than our parents. When we past the first trimester mark, we started telling our friends. Everyone was so sweet and excited. We talked about the changes that were coming and I told them how my weekly pregnancy email updates would always compare the size of the baby to some food product. We particularly liked the week he was the size of a "coffee bean", partly because that description is just so specific, and then because we are big fans of coffee, especially Matt. He is a coffee addict, for sure. We would refer to the baby as "coffee bean" for fun. Soon after that, a package arrived in the mail from Austin, TX. In it was this adorable, tiny, handmade onesie from Sarah! This was way before we knew the baby's gender, much less his name (since we didn't even decide on the name until he was born). Matt picked up the onesie and talk to it, saying "what are you going to look like?" and other questions. Even then it was hard to believe that we would have a little person who could one day fit into it. That day came this week, when Isaac had been with us for 8 weeks. It was his first present, and I was so happy to put him into it. He seems pretty happy about it himself..
